Empire of the Sun是一支来自澳大利亚的Electronic乐队，带有点Psychedelic的感觉，他们的首波主打是 "We Are The People"，之前也发过一张单曲。老实说这张专辑的封面实在是……只能说如果是先看到这个封面的话恐怕实在是没什么人会对专辑产生兴趣。此封面也被光荣评为是08年最差专辑封面之一。但这并不妨碍人们对这张专辑的喜爱，我也是在电台里先听到 "We Are The People"，此歌被反复在电台里播放，一天之内就听到了4，5遍，实话说这首歌确实so amazing，只是目睹了专辑封面之后还是被深深地雷到了。虽说曲风也很复古，但封面也有必要搞得这么“复古”吗。包括他们的一身造型，不知道该说什么，只好说很有异域风情。。。不过还真别说，所谓不可貌像啊，这张专辑目前是大热门，排在Top Album之列，其受欢迎程度可见一斑。整张专辑都充斥着浓浓的80s风格，看来是誓将复古进行到底了。

另外提一下，乐队名字取自美国导演斯皮尔伯格1987年的同名电影，这部电影讲的是中日战争的故事，大背景就定在上海。而 "Walking On A Dream"的音乐录影带就是在上海拍摄的，不知乐队选择在上海拍摄video是否有其特别的用意。
