White Lies是一支来自西伦敦伊令的英国另类摇滚乐队。从前乐队名字称为"Fear Of Flying"，最初是由Harry Mcveigh（主唱，吉他），Charles Cave（贝司，吉他），以及Jack Lawrence-Brown（鼓手）组成。乐队在现场演出期间也由Tommy Bowen（键盘）来作为替补成员。

White Lies于2007年10月成立，在创作歌曲的基础上他们觉得还并不满足于原有的乐队。在为了积累媒体宣传而将他们的首次演出延迟了五个月后，他们就在初次登场的几天后与Fiction Records签下了唱片合约。乐队在07年先后发行了两支单曲 "Unfinished Business" 和 "Death"，在08年也曾发行过一张EP，随后又发行了单曲 "To Lose My Life"，然后在2009年，他们终于正式发行了首张专辑《To Lose My life》，曾上榜首周就登上了榜首位置，成为09年英国第一张问鼎榜首的专辑。同年3月，他们又发行了一张新单曲 "Farewell To The Fairground"。White Lies的音乐风格被媒体描述为是黑暗的，却是令人振奋的，并且将他们与Joy Division，Editors以及Interpol相提并论。他们的歌中，大多都在歌唱着“绝望的爱，死亡，失去”等沉重和悲伤的主题，但却能让人找到一种殊途同归的慰藉。
